Sistah Scribes is for women who have dreams of becoming published authors, those who want to pass down their family stories, those who desire to develop a regular writing practice and those who have published their works and want to continue to move forward in their writing. Sistah Scribes encourages all women to honor their voices and to affirm themselves as writers understanding that women's stories are valuable.

Sistah Scribes offers monthly sessions, retreats, events and celebrations that bring women together in community. We understand that writing is a solitary event but that community can help propel us forward.
